One-match ban for Benny Henrichs
Following his red card in the match against Leipzig, Benjamin Henrichs has received a one-match ban from the DFB sports tribunal.
That means the Werkself full-back will not be available for the away game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday 25 November. Henrichs was brought on by head coach Heiko Herrlich for the start of the second half against Leipzig and he handled the ball on the goal-line on 52 minutes. Referee Harm Osmers (Hannover) proceeded to issue a red card and award a penalty for the visitors. Bayer 04 have agreed to the suspension and it comes into effect immediately.

Training during the international break
The Werkself kicked off the final international break of the current season on Monday morning with the first of three open training sessions this week. While eleven Bayer 04 players will be away on international duty in the coming days, the other players will be working together in Leverkusen.
