For the former Austria international, the contract extension means "confirmation of my performance levels and the decision I made to sign for Leverkusen. I'm very happy to be able to stay at this great club and continue alongside the lads," said Özcan. "Our team is young and hungry. It's a great challenge for me to be able to help them out with my experience."
