
The Bundesliga club is thus following in the footsteps of the German national team, which was also based at the Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land to prepare for the 2024 European Championship on home soil. For a total of seven training days, the spacious hotel and sports facility 30 kilometres from Erfurt will become the new home of Bayer 04. There, head coach Kasper Hjulmand's side will prepare intensively for the challenges of the 2026/27 season.





"The Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land offers our first team and staff working conditions of the highest standard," emphasised Bayer 04 Managing Director Sport Simon Rolfes. "The in-house training facilities meet international requirements, and the regeneration options for our players are perfect thanks to the excellent infrastructure on site," he added. "We're looking forward to a week in Thuringia in the summer. In Blankenhain, we want to lay the foundations for a successful 2026/27 season."
