Nadiem Amiri joins Genoa
Nadiem Amiri has joined Genoa CFC from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The Italian top-flight club have signed the 25-year-old midfielder on loan to the end of the season.
“Nadiem hasn’t had the time on the pitch he was aiming for. We understand his reasons for wanting a move and we wish him all the best in Serie A,” said Bayer 04 sporting director Simon Rolfes.

U19 European Championship in Wales: Germany make semis – Culbreath and Onyeka on target
Following their 4–3 opening victory against Denmark, the Germany U19s made it two wins out of two by defeating hosts Wales, securing their place in the semi-finals with a game to spare.
