
"Noah has come on very well with us over the past year and a half," declared Bayer 04 sporting managing director Simon Rolfes. "We have great confidence in him and are convinced he'll play an important role in the Bayer 04 squad in the future. In Düsseldorf, however, he currently has a better chance of more game time, which he needs for his further footballing development."
The 19-year-old Mbamba joined Bayer 04 from Club Brügge in early 2023. His contract with the German double winners runs until 30 June 2028.

Following their 4–3 opening victory against Denmark, the Germany U19s made it two wins out of two by defeating hosts Wales, securing their place in the semi-finals with a game to spare. In the 4–0 win, Bayer 04 players Montrell Culbreath and Francis Onyeka once again put in impressive performances, with both finding the back of the net.
