"Noah has come on very well with us over the past year and a half," declared Bayer 04 sporting managing director Simon Rolfes. "We have great confidence in him and are convinced he'll play an important role in the Bayer 04 squad in the future. In Düsseldorf, however, he currently has a better chance of more game time, which he needs for his further footballing development."
The 19-year-old Mbamba joined Bayer 04 from Club Brügge in early 2023. His contract with the German double winners runs until 30 June 2028.

A record stage for the Bayer 04 Women in Munich – and fans can get behind their team together in front of the TV. For the opening match in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga on Saturday, 6 September (kick-off: 17:45 CEST) the Werkself have organised a watch party at the Schwadbud. While the team led by coach Roberto Pätzold face Bayern Munich in front of 45,000 spectators at the Allianz Arena, supporters can also provide vocal support from back home.
