"Noah has come on very well with us over the past year and a half," declared Bayer 04 sporting managing director Simon Rolfes. "We have great confidence in him and are convinced he'll play an important role in the Bayer 04 squad in the future. In Düsseldorf, however, he currently has a better chance of more game time, which he needs for his further footballing development."
The 19-year-old Mbamba joined Bayer 04 from Club Brügge in early 2023. His contract with the German double winners runs until 30 June 2028.

Jamie Leweling opened the scoring early, with Maximilian Mittelstädt making it 2-0 from a penalty before Leweling again and Deniz Undav increased the lead to 4-0 just before half-time. Bayer 04 Leverkusen has gained a new partner in digital gaming platform Crown Coins, which joins the Bundesliga runners-up's Sponsors Club with immediate effect. The one-and-a-half-year contract runs until 30 June 2027.
