We very much value his qualities and Niklas showed his great class as one of our three goalkeepers last season with his performances in training making a big contribution to the success of the team."
Lomb, who has been at Bayer 04 since 2010, has a contract to 30 June 2020. In 2015/16 he went out on loan to third division clubs Hallescher FC and Preußen Münster.
