Lennart Grill completes move to Union Berlin

Lennart Grill has agreed a permanent move from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Union Berlin. With the keeper who originally went out on loan in 2022, the option to buy the 24-year-old takes effect due to the set number of appearances and he is now part of the Union squad.

Grill joined Bayer 04 in 2020 from FC Kaiserslautern, then in the third division, and in 2021 he went out on a six-month loan to the Norwegian club Brann Bergen as their first choice number one. The keeper's contract at Leverkusen originally ran to 30 June 2024.

Inclusion, community and first team autographs: Day of action for women and girls with disabilities

A simple approach to sport with games, fun and a highlight at the end: Bayer 04 organised a very special training session for 40 participants aged between six and 27 in cooperation with the Football Association of the Middle Rhine (FVM). At the day of action for women and girls with disabilities at the Kurtekotten Performance Centre, many of the participants gained their first experience of football.
