Thanks to a clinical performance, the Bayer 04 Women have distanced themselves from their Rhineland neighbours in the Bundesliga table on Carnival Friday. In an atmospheric derby, coach Roberto Pätzold's team beat FC Köln 2-1 to reclaim third place at least until Sunday.
