Demirbay, who was separated from the team immediately after the diagnosis, has been in self-isolation since Friday. The 27-year-old is asymptomatic and he is well. A physiotherapist, who treated Demirbay during the Europa League trip to France, is also in self-isolation as a preventive measure in spite of a negative Covid-19 test.
Bayer 04 will have to manage without forward Moussa Diaby for their upcoming matches. The 27-year-old Frenchman sustained a thigh injury in the 3-0 defeat against TSG Hoffenheim yesterday afternoon, Sunday 25 October.
