Karim Bellarabi sidelined with knee injury
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without forward Karim Bellarabi for several weeks.
In addition to the muscular problems, which ruled the striker out of last weekend's 2-1 defeat in the Bundesliga against FC Augsburg, an MRI scan today (Monday) revealed a lateral meniscus tear in the left knee. Bellarabi will undergo an operation this week. The 32-year-old will probably be out of action for six weeks.

One week after the derby was abandoned, the Werkself continue their winning run in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga. Coach Roberto Pätzold's team won 2-0 at TSG Hoffenheim on Sunday afternoon, mainly thanks to a strong second half, to record their fifth consecutive victory.
