Karim Bellarabi sidelined with knee injury
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without forward Karim Bellarabi for several weeks.
In addition to the muscular problems, which ruled the striker out of last weekend's 2-1 defeat in the Bundesliga against FC Augsburg, an MRI scan today (Monday) revealed a lateral meniscus tear in the left knee. Bellarabi will undergo an operation this week. The 32-year-old will probably be out of action for six weeks.

The #B04 eSports team made a successful start to the 2025/26 VBL Club Championship finals. Marc and Sean Landwehr defeated the hosts of the event, Hamburger SV, in the Round of 16.
