Instead of the previous four price categories, Bayer 04 will offer six price categories in future. The areas in the north and south of the BayArena and the family block will remain unaffected. This measure is intended to take account of the attractiveness of the different seats and to enable a differentiated pricing policy.
Bayer 04 will raise the prices of matchday and season tickets in different ways for the 2026/27 season. Some seats will remain at the same price in the coming season.
Season ticket holders will also continue to benefit from an attractive season ticket discount. The full-price season ticket in the most expensive category 1, for example, will cost €40.29 per match in future. This means that Bayer 04 will continue to offer one of the cheapest season tickets in the Bundesliga in this category.
Markus Breglec, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at Bayer 04, said: "Our ticket pricing policy has always been fair and balanced - and will remain so in the future. We know that price changes affect our fans directly, especially in these times. Coming to the BayArena will remain attractive and family-friendly."
Bayer 04 will provide information on the exact procedure for matchday ticket sales in due course.
The new prices for matchday and season tickets:

For the 2026/27 season, Bayer 04 will introduce a minimum required use of season tickets for the first time. If a season ticket is used for less than 10 of the 17 Bundesliga home matches, Bayer 04 reserve the right to cancel the season ticket for the following season (for the first time in 2027/28). The successful sale via the official Bayer 04 ticket exchange as well as the ticket use as a result of a transfer in accordance with the General Ticket Terms and Conditions (ATGB) shall be deemed as utilisation.
All season ticket holders were informed of the exact dates of the option to change phase in a separate letter.
There will also be no new season ticket sales for the new season. Any season tickets that become available will be allocated exclusively via the season ticket waiting list. There will also be another opportunity to register for the season ticket waiting list this year. Bayer 04 will communicate all relevant information in good time via the usual channels.
The key message is: Nothing needs to be done if no changes to the existing season ticket subscription are required.
