Increased seven-day rate: No spectators at home games

The infection rate in the region as well as in and around Leverkusen has suddenly increased and it exceeded 35 on Friday morning, 2 October. Bayer 04 have decided not to allow spectators to attend the matches of the Bundesliga Women's team and the youth teams from 2 to 4 October.

Following discussions with the club's medical section, all matches at the Kurtekotten Performance Centre – where the Bayer 04 Women's team are playing VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday at 14.00 CEST – and in the Ulrich Haberland Stadium will be played behind closed doors. In contrast to recent weeks, family members and close friends of players and staff involved will not be allowed access.

Bayer 04 will continue to monitor the development of the infection rates in and around Leverkusen. All further information on future home games for the Women's team and the youth teams at Bayer 04 will be announced on the club's channels.
