
Following discussions with the club's medical section, all matches at the Kurtekotten Performance Centre – where the Bayer 04 Women's team are playing VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday at 14.00 CEST – and in the Ulrich Haberland Stadium will be played behind closed doors. In contrast to recent weeks, family members and close friends of players and staff involved will not be allowed access.
Bayer 04 will continue to monitor the development of the infection rates in and around Leverkusen. All further information on future home games for the Women's team and the youth teams at Bayer 04 will be announced on the club's channels.

In preparation for the Bundesliga home match against FC St. Pauli on Saturday, 14 February (kick-off: 15:30 CET), the Werkself had a full week of training for the first time since the first match in 2026. At the press conference ahead of the clash against the relegation-threatened Kiezkicker, coach Kasper Hjulmand spoke about the intensive work during the week and the lessons learnt.
