Hlozek sidelined with ankle injury

Bayer 04 will have to manage without striker Adam Hlozek in the coming weeks. The Czechia international injured his left ankle in the first half of Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.

That was the diagnosis from an MRI scan today (Sunday). Amine Adli came on for Adam Hlozek before half-time in Berlin. The Czechia international is expected to return to the Werkself squad in three to four weeks.
