Darren Mattocks came off the bench to score the only goal of the game from the penalty spot on 75 minutes at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Leon Bailey, who missed the last group match against Curaçao (1-1) due to a foot problem, played the full 90 minutes on the left wing for the Black, Green and Yellows.

This will be the fourth semi-final appearance in succession for the Reggae Boyz. In a repeat of the 2017 final (1-2), Jamaica face the USA team on Thursday (4 June, 03.00 CET) after they beat Curaçao 1-0 in their quarter-final match.
