Friendly against VfL Bochum at the Haberland Stadium

Bayer 04 will play another friendly ahead of the Bundesliga restart after returning from the training camp in Orlando. Roger Schmidt’s team face VfL Bochum on Tuesday 17 January at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium at 14.00 CET. Entry is free.

The team coached by Gertjan Verbeek are eleventh in the second division at the end of the first half of the season.

This will be the final friendly for the Werkself before the first competitive match of 2017 on Sunday 22 January when Hertha Berlin visit the BayArena at 15.30 CET in the final fixture of the first half of the Bundesliga season. As part of the training camp in Orlando, Bayer 04 have two matches in the Florida Cup against Estudiantes de la Plata from Argentina on Sunday 8 January and Atlético Mineiró from Brazil on Wednesday 11 January.
