Partial exclusion

What does partial exclusion mean to me if I want to buy a season ticket?

In the event of partial exclusion, we are only able to offer a reduced number of seats at the BayArena. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to consider all season-ticket holders for every game. And you will not be able to take your usual seat as we have to adhere to the hygiene regulations.


My season ticket

Can I choose my seat?

No, that's not possible. Social distancing is required in the stands and we will hold a draw to allocate seats.

Can I sit with my family/a household/my friends?

That will depend on the specific hygiene regulations.

Can I stand on the terraces as usual?

The DFL and DFB have decided matches with a limited number of supporters will be all-seat games.


‘Taking a break’

In spite of 'Taking a break', can I be in the draw for individual matches with limited numbers of spectators?

No. You are NOT included in the draw for matches with partial exclusion as you have opted to take a break.

Does 'Taking a break' cost me anything?

No. If you opt to 'Take a break', we will not take any money from you this season.

Do I have to do anything for me to be able to use my season ticket in the 2021/22 season?

No, we will automatically activate your season ticket for 2021/22.


The draw

When will I know if I've been successful in the draw?

We will contact you in good time. As it stands, we will hold a new draw before every game.

Can I choose the matches I'd like to watch?

No, that's decided by the luck of the draw.

Is it possible that I will be given a seat that has a lower category than my season ticket seat?

No worries, as a rule – with a few exceptions for people in the North Stand – you will be in your usual stand. However, it could be that you are in another block. The stand allocation is available here.


Payment

How do I pay for my allotted tickets?

We will automatically debit the money from your bank account or credit card.

Do I have to pay a surcharge if you allocate me a seat in a more expensive block?

No, the price for your stand is always the same.

What will the allotted ticket cost?

The usual prices for the blocks will not apply this season. Here you can find an overview of the prices for the individual stands.

When will you take the money from my season ticket?

We will only claim the pro rata element of your season ticket when all seats are available again at the BayArena.


BundesligaPlus

Am I automatically in the draw for additional matches?

Yes, with the BundesligaPLUS option you are also included in the draw for European games and the DFB Cup.

Can I change my option before the season? If so, where?

Yes, that is possible. You can select your desired option in your personal online form.


Online form

Can I change my seat in the online form?

No, unfortunately that's not possible this season.

Can I make changes after submitting the online form?

Please contact us via email or on the phone for any required changes.

I've got problems with the online form. Who can help me?

I want to pass on my season ticket. What do I have to do?

Just visit one of our fan shops or send a short email to info@bayer04.de. You will then receive a transfer form for the 2020/21 season.


Ticket sales

Can I buy additional tickets for the matches?

No, that's not possible at the moment. If tickets are left over after the draw, you will receive information about that and then you have first option as a season ticket holder.

I'm a Club member but do not have a season ticket. Do I have a chance of getting a ticket?

Not at first. We are initially offering tickets to our season ticket holders. We will inform you if there are tickets left over.


Transfer/ticket exchange

Can I transfer my ticket to a friend if I'm ill or unable to attend the game?

We are still working on a way of you transferring your ticket.


Matchday/access

Will I be sent a new season ticket?

Yes, we will send your new season ticket but you cannot use this at the BayArena during the partial exclusion.

Does my season ticket give me access to the BayArena?

No. As soon as you win the draw for a game, we will send you your tickets free of charge via email or post.

How many fans will be allowed in the stadium?

That depends on the prevailing hygiene regulations plus the infection rate and that can change from game to game.

Are there further restrictions at the ground? (Food and drinks, WC, etc.)

Yes, we will provide you the information in good time ahead of the matchday.


Refunds/postponed games

What happens when a game is played behind closed doors at short notice? Will I receive a refund?

Yes. We will refund your money if a match is played behind closed doors at short notice.


Cancellation

Can I still cancel my season ticket?

No, The notice period ended on 31 March 2020. But you can pause your subscription.

I've already cancelled. Can I withdraw my cancellation?

We are happy if you change your mind. To withdraw your cancellation, send an email to info@bayer04.de.


Prospects for 2021/22 season

What happens if next season only takes place in front of reduced crowds?

We can't say anything about that at the moment. We will inform you in good time if that does happen.

Will I keep my seat for the 2021/22 season?

You will definitely have your seat for the 2021/22 season.
