After lunch together, some of the Leverkusen players still had media appearances on the schedule at the team hotel, including Robert Andrich, goalkeeper Mark Flekken, Christian Kofane, Edmond Tapsoba and Ibrahim Maza. But now, the guys are enjoying a well-deserved afternoon break. Tonight, they’ll have a little BBQ together - we’ll check in again later!

Well, who just popped in for a quick visit to the team hotel? None other than "Schnix"! Even though his schedule was packed, Bernd Schneider made sure to stop by briefly to see the Werkself and the Bayer 04 officials. Of course, he also had a quick chat with CEO Fernando Carro, team manager Hans-Peter Lehnhoff and club legend Paulo Sergio, among others. It was great to have you here, Schnix!

Training has just finished. And things were heating up on the field again - not just because of the temperatures well over 30 degrees. Head coach Carles Martínez and his staff closed the spaces during the final practice drills, really making the players work up a sweat. They still had fun, though; during the mini-tournament, everyone’s competitive spirit shone through as they sought to defeat their teammates. Today’s winning team? The white team. Well done, guys!

Good morning from Blankenhain! Glorious sunshine once again greets the Werkself at their training camp quarters here in Weimarer Land. Having just had breakfast, the squad will now hop on bikes and golf carts to the training pitch a few minutes away. There'll be a short warm-up in the excellent facilities next to the pitches there, before the open session in front of fans begins. Updates to follow as always!
