Following his broken shin in October 2014 da Costa will visit the Helios hospital in Krefeld for a procedure to remove a metal pin inserted to provide support. The operation is being performed now to enable the 23-year-old to return to the Werkself as soon as possible.
Midfielder Julian Baumgartlinger is set to start training in the next few days. The Austria international is currently working on his own after a groin problem. His exact return to full training depends on his recovery from injury.
