After a break of several years, Bayer 04 now return to the side of the pitch when the team and staff used to be at home games.
For the Bundesliga 2025/26 opener against TSG Hoffenheim at the BayArena on Saturday, Erik ten Hag, his coaches, staff and substitutes will be even closer to the home end. From now, the Bayer 04 team will be nearer to the North Stand after coming on.

The new DFB Pokal campaign takes the Bayer 04 Women to the Saarland to play SV 07 Elversberg. That was the outcome of the draw held on Tuesday night, 19 August, following the play-offs staged for the first time. The Regional League team beat Fortuna Köln 4-2 on penalties. The DFB Pokal opener for the Werkself will be played between 27 and 29 September with the date of the game to be confirmed.
