The six-member DFL Supervisory Board, the controlling body of DFL GmbH, will therefore be made up of the following members over the next four years: Chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke (Borussia Dortmund), Deputy Chair Oliver Leki (SC Freiburg), Fernando Carro and Dr Eric Huwer (Hamburg SV), Ralf Huschen (Hertha Berlin) and Anne Baumann (SV Darmstadt 98).
The nominated candidates were selected in advance from a list of election proposals.
In addition, the seven-member DFL e.V. Executive Committee and the six-member DFL e.V. Licensing Committee were elected at the General Assembly in Berlin. All information can be found HERE.
In cooperation with the Academy of eSports, ambitious gamers were once again given the chance this summer to secure a place in the #B04eSports team via a multi-stage tournament format. Keanu Senkbeil was selected by committee, making the 18-year-old the new eTalent at Bayer 04 and giving him the opportunity to develop both as a player and personally and gain his first experience in the world of professional virtual football.
