The jersey inspired by the colours and landmarks of Leverkusen stands out with a striking colouring of deep crimson to soft cream white and combines powerful industrial hues with refined natural elements. Red stands for the industrial charm of the city characterised by the Bayer Works. The soft colours plus floral shading alludes to the Japanese Garden, a famous Leverkusen landmark and one of the biggest and oldest of its type in Europe.
The jersey is made of 100% recycled polyester. The Bayer 04 logo is on the left side of the chest and the logo of kit suppliers New Ballance is on the right. The collar bears the Werkself lettering. The Werkself sleeve partner Niedax Group is represented on the left sleeve and the main sponsor BarmeniaGothaer is on the front of the jersey.
Off-white shorts and socks complete the minimalist and modern look of the kit. An overall design that captures the striking contrasts and the energy of the home of Bayer 04. The 2025/26 away jersey from New Balance includes the NB Dry Technology that wicks away moisture plus breathable mesh to offer top quality comfort, fitting and function.
The first team led by head coach Erik ten Hag will play in the new away kit for the first time at the training camp in Brazil for the friendly against the Flamengo U20 side on 18 July. "In cooperation with our partner New Balance we wanted to ensure that the attitude of the city would be expressed in the design of the new away kit," said Marcus Breglec, Bayer 04 chief marketing and innovation officer. "It is bold and lively but it originates from the local inspiration of the city and its colours."

Andrew McGarty, global director of football sports marketing at New Balance, added: "We have designed this jersey to express the essence of Leverkusen – a city moulded by contrasts and character. The colours reflect both the raw intensity of the factory skyline as well as the peaceful beauty of the gardens. It's a jersey that reflects the diverse heartbeat of the home of Bayer 04."
The new away jersey is available in children's sizes (JS-JXL) for €69.90 as well as in adult sizes (S-5XL) for €94.90. The women's version is available in sizes XS-2XL also priced at €94.90. There is also the elite version, which is identical to the player edition to be worn by the Werkself in the 2025/26 campaign, at the price of €139.90 (sizes S-3XL).
The jerseys are available now from the Bayer 04 Fanwelt and from the Bayer 04 online shop.

€1,000 and food for a good cause: In keeping with the long-standing cooperation between Bayer 04 and the Tafel Leverkusen e.V. food bank, the U19s are also supporting the charitable organisation in the region. In addition to the generous cheque the team were able to donate to an organisation of their choice as a result of their participation in the UEFA Youth League, coach Kevin Brok's lads donated €500 worth of food - financed by their own team kitty. Ferdinand Pohl, Jesper Schlich and Co. also actively helped to stow the food in the Tafel's premises.
