Bellarabi sidelined with a broken hand

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will probably have to manage without forward Karim Bellarabi for the next three to four weeks. The 30-year-old suffered a metacarpal fracture to his left hand in the away game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday (1-2).

That was the outcome of an x-ray on Monday morning. Karim Bellarabi will undergo an operation on Tuesday 5 January to ensure his recovery is as effective as possible.
