All clear for Karim Bellarabi – the Bayer 04 forward was discharged this morning from the Agaplesion Bethesta Hospital in Wuppertal following his collapse due to exhaustion yesterday.

The 28-year-old was taken to hospital last night after collapsing in Bayer 04's friendly at Wuppertaler SV. After thorough tests and examinations the doctors diagnosed excessive physical strain due to the extreme heat of over 30 degrees Celsius. Beyond that, there are no further findings.

Bellarabi will be given the chance to recuperate and therefore  miss the next few training sessions.
