Becker joins Eintracht Braunschweig

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed Robin Tim Becker’s transfer to Eintracht Braunschweig.

The 20-year-old was on loan at FC Heidenheim last season and he has now signed a contract to 2020 with the club from Lower Saxony. Robin Becker joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen as an 11-year-old from his hometown club VfL Witzhelden. The versatile full back progressed through the Bayer 04 youth teams and he made 19 appearances for the Germany youth team. He was under contract to 2018.

Due to the last-minute postponement of the Bundesliga match between Hamburg and the Werkself on Tuesday, 13 January, Bayer 04 will reimburse the ticket price to all 3,500 fans who had already travelled to Hamburg as a sign of appreciation.
