Bayer 04 transfer Schreck to Groningen
Sam Schreck moves from Bayer 04 to FC Groningen for the coming season.
The 20-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Dutch first division side. The Werkself signed the attacker in 2016 from second division FC St. Pauli for the Leverkusen U19 squad. Schreck is now the second Bayer 04 youth player to move to the Dutch Eredivisie following on from Atakan Akkaynak (to Willem II Tilburg in 2018).

Bayer 04 were beaten 2-0 away at Augsburg on Matchday 13 in the Bundesliga. The Werkself had the majority of the ball but fell behind early to Dimitrios Giannoulis and then Anton Kade inside the first half an hour.
