Bayer 04 transfer goalkeeper Pentz to Brondby IF

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed to the transfer of goalkeeper Patrick Pentz to the top Danish club Brondby IF. The Austria international Pentz was on loan from Bayer 04 in Denmark last season. The double winners from Leverkusen and the big club from Copenhagen have agreed a permanent transfer deal for the 27-year-old who is now the number one at Brondby.

"Patrick has had a very successful season and finally achieved what he wanted to at Brondby: lots of minutes and a place in the Austria squad for Euro 2024," said Bayer 04 sporting managing director Simon Rolfes. "We wish Patrick all the best and the maximum possible success for his future career." Pentz had a contract at Leverkusen to 30 June 2025.
