“Gustavo Puerta is a very powerful player who has great potential as a number six or an eight,” said sporting managing director Simon Rolfes in describing the captain of the Colombia U20 team. “We’ve had a good relationship with FC Nürnberg for a long time and we have been able to reach an agreement beneficial to all sides in this case. ‘Der Club’ are getting a strong player capable of developing and Gustavo will be able to settle in at a very high level and gain the necessary match practice here in Germany.
