Bayer 04 responds to Bundeskartellamt statement
Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH has taken note of the final, non-binding statement issued by the Bundeskartellamt regarding the 50+1 rule and its application, and will now examine it carefully.
In recent years, Bayer 04 has been actively involved in the debate surrounding the 50+1 rule, investing considerable effort and putting forward several concrete proposals. The aim has been, and remains, to find a fair, workable and, as far as possible, long-term solution for the whole of German professional football, one that also takes account of the historically established structures and the interests of all parties involved. Based on the statement issued by the Federal Cartel Office, Bayer 04 sees a number of promising avenues for this.
The club will continue to play an active and constructive role in finding such a solution and will continue the discussions with the Bundesliga and the other parties involved, which have been ongoing since 2021.

Upgrade at Bayer 04: KKV Kabelverlegung joins Sponsors’ Club as new partner
Bayer 04 Leverkusen welcomes a new official member to the Sponsors’ Club at the start of the 2026/27 campaign. KKV Kabelverlegung GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its existing partnership and will, with immediate effect, act as a supporter of the Bundesliga club at the second-highest partner level, just below the premium tier. Bayer 04 expand business partnership with EDO Personalservice
Bayer 04 Leverkusen has extended the existing partnership agreement with EDO Personalservice GmbH and, at the same time, expanded its collaboration with the Cologne-based company. The official partner in the Business Club has been upgraded within Bayer 04’s partner network. The revised and enhanced support for the club has initially been agreed for two years, running until 30 June 2028.
