Born in Hamburg and of Ghanaian descent, he moved from the HSV academy to Manchester City three years ago. His preferred position is on the right wing but he can also operate on the left flank, where his strong right foot can provide a goal threat. "Leverkusen are a top club with great appeal," said the 1.81-metre-tall Alfa-Ruprecht. "I will repay the faith shown in me and do everything for the chance to wear the Bayer shirt."
