The 26-year-old striker, who was on loan at second division Hamburg SV for six months and came on as a substitute in the Werkself’s Bundesliga opener at Wolfsburg, wants to use his time at Union Berlin to stake his claim for a place at next year's European Championships. Finland have reached the finals for the first time in their history.
