The Bayer 04 third kit in black has different elements of the Farbenstadt (description of city of Leverkusen based on dye and chemical production in the nineteenth century) Leverkusen across the kit in graffiti form.
The jersey has a unisex cut. The Bayer 04 logo stands out in cyan blue on the left of the chest with the kit supplier logo of the top British brand Castore stitched in cyan on the right. Werkself is on the collar in cyan. The main sponsor Barmenia is also on the chest in cyan blue lettering.
The third kit costs €64.90 in children's sizes (134-164) and €89.90 in adult sizes (S-5XL). The jersey is only available in the normal version and there is no professional version.
All three new Bayer 04 kits for the 2024/25 season are now on sale. There has been a staggering demand for Werkself home and away kits in the first days and weeks, which has been much bigger than expected. Bayer 04 and our suppliers Castore are working flat out to complete deliveries as soon as possible and thereby satisfy the huge interest of the fans in the jerseys.

The third kit is available now at the Bayer 04 shop in Wiesdorf and at the online shop. The jersey will be available at the fan shop at the BayArena from 10.00 CEST on Thursday. Club members are entitled to a 10% Club discount on the jersey.

Around 400 active participants of all ages took the opportunity to experience the BayArena from a new and special perspective. And there was also plenty going on in the stands: The event attracted more than 1,000 visitors in total and provided an atmospheric end to the season.

Lying third in the Bundesliga, the Werkself made a faltering start in 2026 after the winter break, but gradually rediscovered winning ways and, as in the previous campaign, were among the top 16 in Europe and the top four in the DFB Pokal. In the Bundesliga, the Werkself also remained in the race for Champions League qualification right to the end. However, because setbacks repeatedly crept into the Werkself's performances between good displays and crucial games, it was not quite enough to secure a UCL spot in the end. Following the final match of the 2025/26 season, the prevailing feeling was naturally one of disappointment after missing out on qualification for the Champions League. The Werkself finished the Bundesliga in sixth place, meaning they'll start the 2026/27 campaign in the Europa League. "But to talk negatively about everything now because of that would be wrong," stressed captain Robert Andrich following the final game, knowing that the past year at Bayer 04 was marked, more than almost any other, by the start of a new era and the courage to change – and in particular, the belief in a positive direction. Everyone was aware this process would need time. The first part of the 2025/26 season review.
