A significantly smaller group at training on Monday under head coach Xabi Alonso, due to the 15 players away on international duty, was boosted by the addition of players from the U19 and U17 squads. Thanks to a masterstroke from Katharina Piljic, the Werkself secured their eleventh win of the season in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga. On Sunday evening, coach Roberto Pätzold's team beat FC Carl Zeiss Jena 1-0.
