
Julian Brandt will also join his team-mates at the training camp after completing performance tests at the BayArena yesterday following his extended break after the World Cup in Russia. A total of 24 pro plus four Under-19 players Jan Boller, Ayman Azhil, Kevin Bukusu and Adrian Stanilewicz will form the Black and Red training group.
World Cup runner-up Tin Jedvaj (extended break), Joel Pohjanpalo (ankle) and Chinedu Ekene (muscular problems) have not travelled to Salzburger Land.
The Werkself have two friendly fixtures during the intense week of training: On Thursday (17.30 CET), Herrlich's team play Istanbul Basaksehir FK at the Alois Latini Stadium in Zell am See. Next Sunday the opponents are Al-Wahda Mecca (15.30 CET, at the Goldberg Stadium in Grödig).
