
Lomb joined the Werkself as a 14-year-old from SC West and he has played on loan for third division teams SC Preußen Münster and Hallescher FC as well as for the second division club SV Sandhausen. "We really value Niklas and his qualities," declared sporting director Simon Rolfes. "Over the years, he has contributed a lot to the success of our senior squads with his special team spirit and great commitment in training every day. We will continue to back him."
