Bayer 04 agree long-term deal with Gabriel Minutillo
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed 16-year-old midfield prospect Gabriel Minutillo on a long-term contract. The Germany youth international will play for the U19s this season.
“Gabriel Minutillo has been with us for almost ten years now and is currently one of the most talented players of his age group in the country,” said Bayer 04 Director of Football, Kim Falkenberg. “His development, particularly last season, has been very positive. He has great potential and could be a candidate for our first team in the long term.”
Minutillo has been playing for Bayer 04 since he was seven and has progressed through all the youth teams at the club ever since. Last season, the 16-year-old made his first league appearances for the Leverkusen U19s.

Bayer 04 sign Argentine World Cup runner-up Facundo Medina from Marseille
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed Argentina international Facundo Medina. The defender, who can play both at left-back and in a more central position in the back line, has signed a contract with Bayer 04 to 30 June 2031. The 1.84-metre-tall World Cup runner-up, who will wear the number 2 shirt, joins the club from French top-flight side Olympique de Marseille.
