Bayer 04 2026/27 home jersey with classic stripes

Two weeks after unveiling its new away kit, Bayer 04 Leverkusen has now also released its home jersey for the 2026/27 season. The design, created by kit supplier New Balance, draws inspiration from the Werkself’s legendary black-and-red striped look. A deep black base is combined with bold vertical red stripes. The cross patterns, which opens out towards the hem, echo the club’s iconic symbol and give the kit a sophisticated yet powerful look.

Within the red panels, a precise striped pattern echoes the roof structure of the BayArena. Inspired by the stadium’s unique architecture, the shirt features a clean and structured design without detracting from its elegant overall look. The Bayer 04 logo in the club’s 4C colours also adorns the chest.

“The cross motif serves as a reminder that Bayer 04 is more than just a club,” says Markus Breglec, chief marketing and innovation officer at Bayer 04. “It reflects a shared identity rooted in courage and embodied by generations of fans and players alike.”

The shirt has been developed using New Balance’s latest performance technology. The design is based on an advanced performance chassis with integrated jacquard technology, ensuring breathability, comfort and shape retention. The jersey features a specially developed fabric made from 100% recycled polyester, integrated mesh panels and an innovative chassis construction to meet the demands of the modern game.

The new home shirt is available in children’s sizes (S–XL) for €69.90 and in adult sizes (S–5XL) for €94.90. The women’s-fit shirt is also available in sizes S–2XL for €94.90.

For all fans who want to wear the same design as the Werkself, there is also the Elite version – identical to the kit the team will wear during the 2026/27 season. The Elite jersey is made from a high-quality blend of 60% recycled polyester, 37% polyester and 3% elastane; it offers exceptional comfort and optimum functionality during sporting activities, and is available in sizes S–3XL for €139.90.

Attractive price benefits: Members enjoy a 10% discount on all new shirts. It’s particularly good value for families, as during the 2026/27 season, members can purchase all children’s shirts and mini kits at a special price of just €49.90 – saving up to €25 compared to the regular retail price.

Loyalty discount: Season ticket holders receive an exclusive discount for each season ticket in their subscription and save 19.04% on a home shirt compared to the standard retail price. Children’s shirts and mini kits are excluded from this offer as they are already available to members at the exclusive price of €49.90.

Of course, the new shirt can be personalised with the name and number of your favourite player – whether male or female – or with a customised name. ‘Holidays without war’: Bayer 04, TSV and Bayer AG support summer camp for children from Ukraine

Under the slogan ‘Holidays without War’, 60 children from war-torn Ukraine took part in the summer camp organised by the German-Ukrainian association Blau-Gelbes Kreuz in Leverkusen and the surrounding area in August. The children aged between 10 and 14 – many of whom have lost their parents in the war – come from the Ukrainian twin towns of Leverkusen, Cologne and Monheim am Rhein: Nikopol, Dnipro and Volodymyr. Bayer 04, Bayer AG and TSV Bayer 04 supported the camp to mark its 10th anniversary, enabling even more children and young people than in previous years to spend a few carefree days’ holiday away from the war in the Rhineland.
