The final session in Donaueschingen started a few minutes earlier than on the previous days due to the subsequent journey to France. Many fans turned up to watch Florian Wirtz and Co. train on site one last time. Once again, the fans were able to watch the first part of the session, while the second part was held behind closed doors and mainly consisted of tactical exercises. Afterwards, Simon Rolfes, Xabi Alonso and Co. thanked those responsible at SV Aasen for their hospitality this week.

Between training and the departure for Stuttgart airport, Bayer 04 managing directors Fernando Carro and Simon Rolfes - on behalf of the entire club - signed the city of Donaueschingen's Golden Book in the presence of Mayor Erik Pauly.
