We've put together statements from Amine Adli.
Bundesliga debut at Augsburg
"I was very happy to get those few minutes on the pitch in the Bundesliga. There was a great pass from Florian Wirtz just at the end of the game; it's a pity the ball didn’t go in. I hope I soon get another chance to score my first goal."
Reasons for the move to Leverkusen
"The discussions with the coach (Gerardo Seoane, ed.) played a big part. He told me about the aims the team were following and the role he wants to give to young players. There were many positive aspects. In the end I was convinced that Bayer 04 is exactly the right club for me."
Rumours of interest from Bayern Munich
"Making the decision went down to the last moment. I set myself the task of listening to the intentions of different coaches. In the end, I found the Bayer 04 project the most interesting."
Interim appraisal after one week
"I can say my expectations have been met. First impressions have been very good. The quality in training is very high. When I adapt to it I will be able to make advances with my development. I'm very motivated by that."
Integration
"It was a surprise to me how well I was received here. Of course, Jona (Tah; ed.) was a great help. He speaks perfect French. But as I can understand English I was able to communicate with other teammates like Jeremie, Nadiem and Kerem (Frimpong, Amiri and Demirbay ed.).
Full international debut for Moussa Diaby
"Of course, I have followed the success of Moussa and the resulting opportunities. But that was not decisive for my move to Leverkusen. But I'm happy for him and very glad that he's here. Having a fellow countrymen in the same team makes the start much easier."
Successor to Leon Bailey
"That's how professional football works. Transfers are part and parcel of it. I don't see myself as his replacement but instead I want to fill my role here in my way as Amine Adli."
Style of play
"I'm a very quick player. And I love transition play when I have plenty of room. But I also feel at home in confined spaces. There I can use my strength in dribbling, my mobility. Those are the strengths I want to contribute."
Shirt number 31
"I actually wanted the number 21. But that was already taken. Then I opted for the 31, which has a special significance for me. Toulouse is in the 31st département in France. A happy coincidence as I have a lot to thank FC Toulouse for."

Bayer 04 has presented the groups on the Monheim council with extensively revised proposals for the planned Campus. As part of constructive discussions, the club presented a plan to the CDU, SPD, Greens, FDP, PETO and the Left Party that envisages a one-third reduction in the area of the site on Alfred-Nobel-Strasse. The distance to neighbours will be increased by almost 60 percent. The green corridor will therefore be significantly larger than previously planned. Here are the main changes.

A disappointing Sunday afternoon in the Hanseatic city: The Bayer 04 Women missed out on a place in the DFB Pokal quarter-finals after a penalty shoot-out at Hamburger SV. After more than 120 minutes of play, coach Roberto Pätzold's team lost 4-2 on penalties to the Bundesliga newcomers in front of 3,993 spectators at the Volksparkstadion. Julia Mickenhagen's brilliant strike to level at 1-1 on 73 minutes was not enough for the Werkself in this tie. The Bayer Leverkusen Women’s team reached quarter-finals in both of the previous two seasons.
