Jonathan Tah injury update
Jonathan Tah, who left the Germany U21 s team hotel on Saturday, suffered a bruised right knee in Friday's 2-1 defeat against Hungary in Paderborn.
It remains to be seen how long the 21-year-old defender will be sidelined. Tah does appear to in with a chance of playing against Mainz in the Bundesliga away game at the weekend.
Germany U21 coach Stefan Kuntz said: "It's a purely precautionary measure. In discussion with Jona, our doctors and Bayer Leverkusen we have reached the decision to send the player home for treatment. Of course, it's a pity one of our leading players misses out on the start of the European Championship qualifiers but we do have options in central defence in our squad."
