Bayer 04 progress in DFB Cup with 3-0 win
A clearly superior Werkself team finally overcame Karlsruher resistance in extra-time – Dominik Kohr (93'), Joel Pohjanpalo (99') and Leon Bailey (105') scored the three goals in the DFB Cup round one tie at Karlsruher SC. Bayer 04 needed plenty of patience away to the third division club and it proved to be an arduous task as Heiko Herrlich's team failed to convert large number of chances.
