Season cards/matchday tickets:

You were in the draw with your season card but you haven’t received a ticket?
Don’t worry. Bayer 04 has been sending all tickets since Thursday so your ticket should reach you in time via email.

I have several season cards but my seats are not together. What can I do?
Given the prevailing official regulations, we have to use the chessboard principle for the allocation of seats. That means there is always one seat between you and your neighbour. In individual cases your seats can be in different blocks or rows. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I would like to pause my season card subscription . Is that still possible?
Unfortunately that only applies after the game against Mönchengladbach. Send us an email with the reference ‘change to pause’ and your seat number to info@bayer04.de.

I have ordered matchday tickets from the online shop for #B04BMG. Where are my tickets?
Don’t worry. Bayer 04 has been sending all tickets since Thursday so your ticket should reach you in time via email.

Can I upgrade my ticket at the matchday ticket office?
No. We will not check your ticket for price category for this game.
Can I transfer my tickets?
In general, you can transfer your tickets to friends, family and acquaintances. You must inform us of your details. Please ensure you only transfer your ticket to fully vaccinated or recovered people.

Wristbands as proof of vaccination or recovery

To access the BayArena, visitors must not only produce their ticket at the entrance but also wear a wristband to show that they have been vaccinated or are recovered. There are two options for getting the wristband.

Option 1: The day before the game
On the day before the game (Friday, 20 August), between 10.00 and 18.00, ticket holders can come to the Bayer 04 shop in Leverkusen Wiesdorf or the stadium (Service WEST, autobahn flyover car park). The wristband will be issued on production of the relevant proof of vaccination or recovery.

Option 2: On matchday
Proof of full vaccination or recovery can also be produced on the day of the match to receive a wristband. That is available from 10.00 from Service OST (Bismarckstraße). Additional Bayer 04 members of staff (volunteers) will be in situ two hours before kick-off around the BayArena and the shuttle bus car park to carry out the necessary checks and issue wristbands. Option 2 also applies to children and teenagers who have to produce proof of a negative coronavirus test.

I can’t pick up the wristband. Can friends/family do it for me?
No. Fans have to pick up their wristbands themselves on the matchday or the day before the game from the fan shop in Wiesdorf or Service WEST at the BayArena.

I had my second vaccination a few days ago. Can I still come?
Second vaccinations have to be from 7 August at the latest. Unfortunately, if your vaccination was later we will not be able to grant you access to the stadium.

Getting to the stadium

Is my ticket valid for public transport on the VRS/VRR network?
No, your ticket does not count as a travel ticket.
When do the shuttle buses operate?
The shuttle buses operate from two hours before kick-off. The normal timetable of the regular service from Opladen to the BayArena will be in operation.
Can I park under the flyover?
No. Please use the shuttle bus car park if travelling by car.
Can I smoke at the BayArena?
No. Smoking is banned throughout the BayArena on matchdays.
Are the catering outlets open on matchdays?
Yes, you can get food and drink from the catering outlets. We also offer alcoholic drinks.

Can I use my BayArena Card to pay at the kiosks?
Payments with the BayArena Card at the Bay Arena are no longer possible in the 2021/22 season as our kiosk tills no longer support that function. In addition, the banks have set up the money card system. Do you still have credit on your old season card or BayArena Card? Then come to one of the green payment desks on a matchday. Please follow the sign ‘return/payment of BayArena Card’. We will refund the remaining credit. Payments with the old season card are no longer possible. If your BayArena Card is still valid and we can debit it then you can keep it as a memento. If it is out of date or cannot be debited the we cannot return it. But don’t worry: Of course, we will pay out the money. That also applies to all deposit cards. Online charging has not been possible since the start of the 2019/20 season. Have you loaded credit to your BayArena Card in the past and not used it? Then please send an email to info@bayer04.de with the reference ‘online credit’.
