TV, radio and text commentary: How to follow #BETISB04

The second away game in the current Europa League campaign takes Bayer 04 to Real Betis. You can follow the match at the Estadio Benito Villamarin on Thursday, 21 October (kick-off: 18.45 CEST) on the usual channels. Here's the lowdown.

  • TV: RTL Nitro is showing the Werkself away game in Andalusia live on free TV. The broadcast begins at 18.15 CEST. The presenter Laura Papendick, who used to work for Bayer 04 TV, will be accompanied by pundit Karl-Heinz Riedle at the venue in Seville.
  • Stream: The RTL streaming service, TVNOW, starts – in parallel with the broadcast of #BETISB04 - from 17.30 CEST with the three-part Matchday show. Presenter Anna Kraft, who grew up in Leverkusen, plus Robby Hunke, Arnd Zeigler and Lukas Podolski look at the matches on the night and assess the highlights in the following matchday show. Werkself held to 1-1 draw by Bayern in eventful encounter

Bayer 04 were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Bayern Munich in an eventful Matchday 26 fixture in the Bundesliga. Aleix Garcia had given the Werkself the lead inside six minutes, but Bayern levelled in the second half through Luis Diaz, despite Nicolas Jackson having been send off before the break. Diaz was then dismissed himself as Leverkusen pushed for a winner, which failed to materialise as Jonas Hofmann saw a late goal ruled out.
