Live stream, radio and text commentary: How to follow #FTCB04

Bayer 04 are away to Ferencváros in the sixth and final group match in the UEFA Europa League. While the Werkself are certain of finishing top of the group, the champions of Hungary are looking to pick up their first points as they leave the European stage.   • TV: The sixth Europa League match for the Werkself this season is not on free-to-air TV..
  • Streaming: The provider remains the same but with a new name – TVNOW became RTL+ at the beginning of November. #FTCB04 will be exclusively broadcast on that streaming service. The ‘Matchday’ show on RTL+ begins at 17.30 CET. World Cup winner Lukas Podolski, Anna Kraft, Arnd Zeigler and Robby Hunke will get viewers in the mood for tonight’s Europa League games.
  • Radio: Black and Red fans can also tune in to Werkself Radio. The commentator duo of Cedric Pick and Niko Hartmann will report on the Europa League game live with the broadcast due to start 30 minutes before kick-off. Listen in via the new Bayer 04 app or at bayer04.de.!

2025/26 season review, part I: Upheaval, change, euphoria

Following the final match of the 2025/26 season, the prevailing feeling was naturally one of disappointment after missing out on qualification for the Champions League. The Werkself finished the Bundesliga in sixth place, meaning they'll start the 2026/27 campaign in the Europa League. "But to talk negatively about everything now because of that would be wrong," stressed captain Robert Andrich following the final game, knowing that the past year at Bayer 04 was marked, more than almost any other, by the start of a new era and the courage to change – and in particular, the belief in a positive direction.
