Rudi Völler am Sonntag bei "Sky 90" zu Gast

„Sky90 – die KIA Fußballdebatte“ rundet am Sonntagabend den 7. Spieltag der Fußballbundesliga ab. Sky-Moderator Patrick Wasserziehr begrüßt um 19.30 Uhr Rudi Völler im Studio. Der Sportchef von Bayer 04 wird unter anderem über den Saisonstart seiner Mannschaft, das Auswärtsspiel beim SV Werder Bremen und das am Dienstag anstehende Duell mit Tottenham Hotspur in der UEFA Champions League sprechen.

Außerdem ist Tobias Rau zu Gast, der unter anderem für den FC Bayern München und den VfL Wolfsburg aktiv war. Der ehemalige Nationalspieler ist heute als Lehrer tätig. Komplettiert wird die Runde von Christian Eichler von der FAZ und Matthias Dersch, der für die Ruhr-Nachrichten über den BVB und die Nationalmannschaft berichtet. „Sky90 – die KIA Fußballdebatte“ beginnt am Sonntag um 19.30 Uhr direkt im Anschluss an das späte Sonntagsspiel zwischen Wolfsburg und Leipzig (ab 17 Uhr) auf Sky Sport Bundesliga 1 HD.

Battling Werkself lose 2-0 in Athens

It was a disappointing night in Athens: The Werkself lost 2-0 away to Olympiacos on Matchday 7 in the league phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign. In a match that was intense and fiery from the outset, the high-pressing home side made the better start and took the lead through Costinha on two minutes. Although the Werkself had a number of chances to equalise, the clinical Greek side increased the lead to 2-0 shortly before half-time (45+1’). In the second half, Leverkusen once again gave their all and showed total commitment but, despite their best efforts, the Black and Reds were unable to break down the Olympiacos defence on the night.
