The team currently fifth in the Bundesliga have been permitted a much reduced allocation for the fixture against Bayer Leverkusen. In accordance with state government regulations, only 750 fans will be able to attend the game at the Europa Park Stadium that opened two months ago.
For that reason, there will be no away tickets.
Fans wanting to watch the Werkself at the BayArena ahead of the festive season have the opportunity at the Bundesliga home game against TSG Hoffenheim. See the matchday information for entry requirements. The Seoane team will play fourth-placed Hoffenheim in front of up to 15,000 spectators. Bayer 04 were beaten 2-1 at home by Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 12 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. Although the Werkself had more of the play in the first half, the visitors went ahead through Aaron Anselmino. Karim Adeyemi doubled their advantage after the hour, but Christian Kofane gave Leverkusen late hope, although ultimately to no avail.
