Game at Freiburg: No away tickets on sale

While 15,000 fans are permitted at Werkself home games under the 2G rule, the Baden Württemberg state government is allowing a significantly smaller number of spectators in stadiums under their jurisdiction. That affects the last match in 2021 for head coach Gerardo Seoane and his players: The Werkself are away to SC Freiburg on Sunday, 19 December (kick-off: 15.30 CET).

The team currently fifth in the Bundesliga have been permitted a much reduced allocation for the fixture against Bayer Leverkusen. In accordance with state government regulations, only 750 fans will be able to attend the game at the Europa Park Stadium that opened two months ago.

For that reason, there will be no away tickets.

Fans wanting to watch the Werkself at the BayArena ahead of the festive season have the opportunity at the Bundesliga home game against TSG Hoffenheim. See the matchday information for entry requirements. The Seoane team will play fourth-placed Hoffenheim in front of up to 15,000 spectators. The kick-off is on Wednesday, 15 December, at 20.30 CET (stadium opens: 18.30 CET).
