DFL confirms matchdays 6 to 12
The DFL confirms matchdays six to twelve: Bayer 04 play Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen and Bayern on Saturday nights.
The DFL announced revised fixture details for the Bundesliga games on matchdays six to twelve on Wednesday. Bayer 04 have three Saturday night top games at home to Borussia Dortmund (1 October), away to Werder Bremen (15 October) and at the record champions Bayern Munich (26 November). The home games against Hoffenheim (22 October) and Darmstadt (5 November) plus the away game at Wolfsburg (29 October) are all Saturday afternoon games at 15.30 CET. The match at the BayArena against newcomers RB Leipzig (18 November) is the Friday fixture on matchday eleven at 20.30 CET.

Training during the international break
The Werkself kicked off the final international break of the current season on Monday morning with the first of three open training sessions this week. Piljic strike seals win for Bayer 04 Women against Jena
Thanks to a masterstroke from Katharina Piljic, the Werkself secured their eleventh win of the season in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga. On Sunday evening, coach Roberto Pätzold's team beat FC Carl Zeiss Jena 1-0. Midfielder Piljic scored the winning goal with a volley into the corner from the edge of the box (19’) in front of 633 spectators at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium - and ensured that Leverkusen moved up to fifth place in the table for at least one night with 34 points.
