
The summer break is drawing to a close and soon the action returns to the turf. When the Werkself return to training on Monday (1 July) and the pre-season officially starts it will already be clear which side the team coached by Peter Bosz will face in the first match of the German league championships (16 to 18 August) – one week after the DFB Cup tie at Alemannia Aachen (9 to 12 August). But also how the rest of the fixtures will pan out. A good sign that it won't be long before it all kicks off again...

The Werkself may have the festive season off, but four players will still be in action as they compete at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
