#B04M05: Update on home game against Mainz 05

As with the home fixture against Borussia Dortmund, up to 17,605 spectators are permitted to attend the match at the BayArena against FSV Mainz 05. All information relating to the match against Mainz on Saturday, 25 September (kick-off: 15.30 CEST) can be found in our FAQs on Werkself home games.

The team led by head coach Gerardo Seoane will be looking to build on the wins against Ferencvaros (2-1) and VfB Stuttgart (3-1) against the team from the Rhineland Palatinate state capital who are level on points with the Werkself. It won't be easy: Mainz have been the surprise team in the season so far and are currently fifth in the table on ten points just one position behind the Werkself.

The fourth showdown in the VBL Club Championship 2025/26 starts for the Leverkusen eSports team today, Thursday 22 January (live on the B04eSports Twitch channel and on the Bayer 04 app from 19:00 CET).
