Three friendlies for coach Peter Bosz

The timetable has been set for the build-up to the second half of the season. Bayer 04 will play three friendlies in the coming week: against Twente Enschede (8 January) plus PEC Zwolle and Preußen Münster (both on 11 January).

The new head coach Peter Bosz will field his new team for the first time on Tuesday 8 January. The match against Dutch second division club Twente Enschede kicks off at 14.00 CET behind closed doors on the advice of the police. The same applies to the game against third division Preußen Münster on Friday 11 January (kick-off; 16.15 CET).

The match against PEC Zwolle is open to all. The game against the Dutch top-flight club  will be played at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium, at the BayArena, with the kick-off at 14.00 CET on Friday 11 January. Entrance is free of charge.

All three games will also be broadcast live on Bayer 04 TV. The stream is available at

The trip for journalists from the likes of Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mozambique, Togo, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Togo was organised by the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) with the goal of establishing and promoting Africa as a new target market for the Bundesliga.

Bayer 04 has modernised its media working area in the stands at the BayArena and equipped it with new, multifunctional monitors. The 50 screens will be used for the first time for the fixture against Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 13 in the Bundesliga next Sunday, 3 December (kick-off: 17:30 CET) and offer the media representatives working at the BayArena on matchday numerous possibilities.
