The 32-year-old has joined the Werkself from Dutch top-flight club SC Heerenveen with a contract to the summer of 2020. Peters previously worked with Bosz and Krüzen at Vitesse Arnhem from 2013 to 2016.

Despite a courageous display, the Bayer 04 Women missed out on a surprise at the start of the second half of the Bundesliga season. Coach Roberto Pätzold's team lost 3-0 to league leaders Bayern Munich on Monday night.
